To promote the development of productive and balanced lifestyles that can lead to ongoing progress and success in life, both personally and professionally.
ARTS is a private non-profit Training, Learning, and Resource Center where participants enter the program voluntarily to receive individualized assistance, guidance, and support needed to progress and succeed in life based on expressed goals and aspirations. The program offers age-appropriate services to individuals starting at age ten through age twenty-six who are experiencing challenges in one or all of their life domains. The program offers participants the necessary tools and resources needed to prepare for success and progress professionally and personally in life. ARTS services are available to individuals in Prince George’s and surrounding counties.
ARTS has partnered with various business entities within the community that will be available to offer on-the-job training and permanent employment. ARTS has also partnered with community colleges, trade schools, and alternative schools so that participants can have a variety of choices to select from academically and professionally. The ARTS management team, in collaboration with leadership from the various entities, works closely with participants in their expressed area(s) of interest.
To maintain an environment that is conducive to learning, where participants will feel safe and comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and deficiencies without hesitation, reservations, or fears of ridicule in doing so. All of the staff, volunteers, and associated entities pledge to be respectful, patient, considerate, empathetic, and sympathetic to all participants at all times.

When participants successfully complete the ARTS Program, the takeaways will include but will not be limited to the following:
Increase in- self-confidence and the ability to succeed in life both personally and professionally.
